This video is a bold, theatrical fusion of eerie nostalgia and high-fashion fantasy—imagine Goosebumps meets Lady Gaga’s Abracadabra.

The outline of the story starts with an open shot of kids waiting in line to enter an attraction. There is a ticket taker who is calling out the rules of the side show as kids are passing off their tickets to head into the exhibit. (no running, no fooling around, no touching anything)

We enter into the sideshow where there is vintage music and a shot of the contortionists. We meet three kids who are in awe of the exhibit. One of them begins to goof around and eventually trips over a cord. The side show lights go out and the music stops. Panicking, the three kids are scrambling in the dark trying to find the cord. One finds it, relights the exhibit only to see that it has transformed to this dark glam twisted side show… what will happens next?

The inspiration for this plays into the historical landmark of Atlantic City’s boardwalk culture. The concept draws deeply from the city’s historic carnival and sideshow roots. For the first of hopefully many to come, I wanted to pay homage to the famous Steel Pier, known in the early-to-mid 20th century for its eclectic shows, human oddities, illusionists, and vaudeville acts.
